The Role
Ampion is seeking Data Testers who can deliver Data Testing services on Data platforms. You will be working closely with stakeholders from development and testing teams, business analysts, as well as representatives from other key projects.

• Quality engineering & testing experience in a structured environment within a data and integration context.
• Experience in the system, system integration, regression, and end-to-end testing in medium to large-sized project teams. (Req: Must
• Experience in working closely with business representatives and business analysts to seek clarity on requirements and define test scenarios
• Experience in defining the required test coverage, development of testing artefacts including traceability matrices, test plan, test scenarios and test cases
• Perform End-to-End test execution and evaluate test results.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing – liaise with subject matter experts, understand business processes, develop source, and target reconciliation reports to enable the business to reconcile migrated data.(Req: Must)
• Experience using Jira- Zephyr testing tool and knowledge of Defect Life Cycle management.
• Knowledge in data reconciliation and running complex queries.
• Demonstrated willingness and flexibility to change direction to suit changing priorities and multiple streams of work.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills of a high level.
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Reporting (SAP Data Services / SAP Business Objects) (Req: Must)
• Experience with ETL source to target mappings, transformations, and reconciliation / validation rules. (Req: Must)
• Script writing skills SQL (Req: Must), Python (Req: Nice to have)
• Cloud experience with either GCP, Azure or AWS (Req: Nice to have)
• Experience in data comparison, file comparison(report and extract comparison). (Req: Must)
• Good knowledge in data skills, good testing approach, tackling data related problems and requirements.
• REST and SOAP Web Services (API Testing) (Req: Nice to have)
• Experience in software test automation, e.g. Selenium or Load Runner (Req: Nice to have)
